Hitachi to begin manufacturing of side discharge VRF (Set free) in India..Hitachi Home Life Solutions (India) Ltd. (HHLI), a subsidiary of Hitachi Appliance Inc. Japan, is all set to roll out its VRF product range, ‘Set Free’ from its state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities in Kadi, Gujarat. The commercial production will commence in June and the first unit will be ready by the end of July 2012.
This will strengthen the company’s presence in the commercial AC market. Manufacturing facility at Kadi is already producing room air-conditioners, ductables, chiller and telecom air-conditioners.
The current market scenario reveals a consistent increase in demand for intelligent VRF cooling solutions. For instance, the premium residential sector constantly demands cooling solutions combining great aesthetic value, energy efficiency and eco-friendliness. Hitachi’s Set Free is the perfect solution for the same.
The side discharge VRF (Set Free) range is designed specifically to meet hot weather conditions along with space constraints. Moreover, Hitachi ‘Set Free’ is fitted with world class ‘Scroll Compressor’ and advanced heat exchangers to tackle such oddity and to deliver the improved efficiency. It will be available in 6 hp to 12 hp capacities; however ODUs of top discharge from 8 hp to 54 hp are also available (currently import).
The initial production plan is for VRF outdoor units with hot air discharge from the side. Subsequently, traditional outdoor units with the provision of hot air discharge from the top will be added to the production plan.
